The OakMapper website allows you to explore the Sudden Oak Death data set using Google Maps. Use the zoom and pan tools within google maps to see different areas; click on a point to see details in the information tab; or submit a point by filling out the form under the report tab. The draw point and draw polygon options allow you to delineate the affected areas directly on the map without any xy coordinates. Signing up for an OakMapper account allows you to comment on points and to track your submissions and comments. The video below shows how to register for OakMapper and to report a suspected location of SOD.
